Interview with LIU Sheng, Founding President of CAOCAO Mobility France

Over lunch, the Young Leaders and Friends of the France China Foundation, the China chapter of the Fondation France-Asie, had the pleasure of discussing the challenges of sustainable mobility in France, Europe and China with LIU Sheng, founder and chairman of Caocao Mobility France. The meeting, chaired by Arthur Sauzay, partner at Allen & Overy France, addressed topics such as the climate transition, European regulations for the electric vehicle market, the use of rare earths, developments on the Caocao platform in the B-to-B sector, and the adaptation of a Chinese business model in France. A Chinese entrepreneur who has lived in France for the past twenty years, LIU Sheng has developed a premium approach to chauffeur-driven transport (VTC) in Paris, through a safe and sustainable high-end mobility service. The easily recognizable vehicles - electric versions of London cabs - are designed by London EV Company (LEVC), manufacturer of the London Black Cab and part of the Chinese automotive group GEELY. This group is also the owner of the CAOCAO Mobility platform in China and the main investor in its adaptation in France, led by LIU Sheng. Present in 62 cities in China, CAOCAO Mobility is the country's leader in intelligent green mobility, with 2 million passengers a day and 150 million customers.
