Young Leaders France-China seminar – Beijing & Tianjin
From 21 to 25 March 2024, the annual seminar of the Young Leaders France Chine programme was held in China, in the cities of Beijing and Tianjin.
The trip, which focused on Franco-Chinese cooperation in the 60th anniversary year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between our countries, gave rise to numerous exchange and discussion sessions, as well as debates on subjects as varied as climate action, cultural cooperation and the challenges of artificial intelligence.
The 46-strong delegation (23 French and 23 Chinese) had the opportunity to discover places of innovation as well as heritage sites: from the fully automated, zero-carbon port of Tianjin to the Hoangho Baiho natural history museum, founded in 1914, via the Forbidden City, the Airbus assembly line and the headquarters of Phoenix TV…
This rich and intense seminar enabled the French and Chinese Young Leaders to get to know each other, exchange ideas, ask each other questions and refine their mutual perceptions of our countries. The adventure will continue next year, with a seminar back in France.
